Abstract—“Signals and Systems”, as a compulsory basic course for communication electronics majors, is characterized by abstract content, many mathematical formulas, and strong engineering applications. In order to better promote students’ learning effect and academic development, we integrate the concept of flipped classroom teaching into the teaching process, dividing teaching and learning into three aspects: pre-course learning, classroom activities, and post-course summarization. Through pre-course learning, students can understand and prepare relevant knowledge in advance, while classroom activities focus on practice and application, allowing students to understand and master knowledge more deeply under the guidance of the teacher. Post-class summarization is the consolidation and reflection of what has been learned in class. The practical results show that the method effectively improves the teaching effect, fully stimulates students’ enthusiasm for learning and independent learning ability, and to a certain extent improves students’ ability and solve problems, so that they can better cope with the future challenges of study and work.
