Abstract—This paper uses the CiteSpace literature visualization software to analyze the research status, hotspots, and academic trends of the Content-Based Instruction (CBI) teaching model from 2014 to the present in the CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) database. It explores the annual publication volume, authors, publishing institutions, and keyword clusters, and further analyzes the frequency of keywords and emergent network patterns over the past decade. This paper aims to promote exploration and development of the CBI model through visualized data analysis, reveal the core hotspots and future development directions of the CBI teaching model, and provide reference for the application and understanding of the CBI teaching model in the field of foreign language teaching.
